Autumn Foliage of Eigenji Temple's Approach
Eigenji Temple's main hall is located on a hill about 25m above the parking lot (elevation 107m). From the stone pillar at the entrance, the approach gently ascends southward for about 80m, then turns north for about 50m. Both sides of this approach are adorned with numerous magnificent autumn leaves. There is also a direct path ascending westward from the entrance to the main hall, which also boasts many autumn leaves. Autumn Foliage Landscape of Tsutsujigaoka Observatory
From the left, Okukuji Nantaiyama (653m), Mt. Takatori (460m), Mt. Kago-iwa (501m), and Kago-iwa. A sheer cliff continues south from Mt. Nantai. The Tsutsujigaoka parking lot is at an altitude of 230m, and the observatory is at 250m, offering superb views of the Nantai Mountain range during the autumn foliage season from both locations.
