Gosho Shrine, also known as Goshosho Shrine, located in Niedo, Yachiyo Town, Yuki District, is said to enshrine Taira no Masakado. The founding date is unknown, and although the shrine building was rebuilt after a fire in 2017, it is a historically significant shrine. Furthermore, the Niedo area borders Shimotsuma City, and there are numerous kofun (ancient burial mounds) scattered across the city border. You can actually see Katori Shrine Kofun, which includes Niedo Kofun No. 1, and Atagoyama Kofun in Shimotsuma City and the adjacent Muraoka Shibasaki Kofun Group, located about 150m west.

Shin Hase-dera Temple is an ancient temple said to have been built to enshrine the Eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva statue brought back from Kamakura by Yuuki Tomomitsu in Teiei 1 (1232). It is also known as the 38th sacred site of the Kanto 88 Temples Pilgrimage and the 8th temple of the Azuma no Kuni Flower Temples in Ibaraki. The principal image, a wooden standing statue of the Eleven-faced Kannon, is designated as a cultural property by Ibaraki Prefecture, and the Kannon-do (Kannon Hall), the silk painting of the Ryokai Mandara with a box, the wooden standing statue of the Eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva, the Hanamon-dan (flower-shaped altar), and the Itabi (stone stele) are designated as cultural properties by Yachiyo Town. Furthermore, the memorial towers of successive generations of the Yuki clan and the particularly prominent old tombstone are splendid tributes to Tomomitsu's virtues. There are memorial towers and a giant ginkgo tree said to have been planted by Lord Tomomitsu himself.

The temple grounds also house the Sugaya Kannon, the Twelve Zodiac Guardian Deities, and a bell tower. A memorial stone for a zelkova tree stands where an old zelkova tree is said to have been, indicating the temple's long history of being cherished and the deep faith of the local people.

Kongoji Temple, located in Numamori, Yachiyo Town, Yuki District, is a temple of the Buzan sect of Shingon Buddhism. It was founded in Bun'an 5 (1448) and is said to have originally been a branch temple of Negoroji Temple in Wakayama Prefecture, but now has Hasedera Temple in Nara as its head temple. The main hall, built in Genna 2 (1616), was rebuilt in Heisei 24 (2012) due to deterioration, but the transoms, ceiling paintings, Sumadan (altar), and Kuden (empty hall) used in the old main hall have been restored and preserved. Additionally, the "Silk Scroll with Colored Ryokai Mandala (Kamakura Edition)", a cultural property of Yachiyo Town, is preserved here, and it is a historic temple said to have received a goshiuin (vermilion seal stamp) of 20 koku from Tokugawa Ieyasu in Keian 1 (1648).
